Seiko NPC Reflective Optical Encoder product line with small size but higher resolution.
Seiko NPC encoder IC consist of a LED and an OEIC(Opto-Electric Integrated Circuit) which is integrating control circuit and photo diode array. And LED and OEIC are assembled in a single package.
High resolution A/B phase analog/digital signals can be output. It will allow to apply to industrial application which may need high precision control or consumer application like DSC.
A photodiode array was applied and it could reduce the degradation in phase characteristics due to mounting alignment.
