We have established Green Procurement Guidelines and are working to reduce lead, comply with the RoHS directives on restricted substances and halogen compounds contained in our products, and comply with the REACH regulations.

Concept behind Green Procurement Guidelines

Management of chemical substances contained in products is important to comprehensively guarantee the selection of raw materials and components -- from product planning to delivery of products to customers.

  • We give preference in selecting and procuring materials and components that have reduced environmental impact.
  • We regularly evaluate the status of our business partners' efforts to manage chemical substances contained in products, and we procure from those who are capable of management on a continuous basis.
  • Our advance approval must be obtained for any changes in the processes, raw materials, etc. of our business partners.

All products conform to the lead-free and RoHS directives

We are promoting 100% lead-free Sn plating for semiconductor products. This also complies with RoHS directives (2011/65/EU, 2015/863/EU).

This does not include (below the maximum permissible concentrations) substances restricted by China RoHS (II).

For halogen free

We are promoting halogen-free semiconductor products.

Chlorine (Cl) Less than 900ppm
Bromine (Br) Less than 900ppm
Total content (Cl + Br) Less than 1500ppm

Response to REACH regulations

As of April 2022, we have confirmed that the content of 218 Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) in semiconductor products is below the threshold.
