Description

The SM8170B is a dual output power supply IC consisting of a DC/DC converter and a series regulator. The DC/DC converter is synchronous rectifying step-down type using PWM. The SM8170B has the functions built-in, such as soft start, under voltage lockout (UVLO), overcurrent detection, reset and thermal protection, so that it is ideal for voltage supply IC from 5V supply to large scale LSI.
