Video Filter LSI with Buffered Outputs SM5300AV Sample Shipping Starts
Nippon Precision Circuits Inc. (NPC) announces the development of SM5300AV, the Video Filter IC with buffered outputs for VESA-standard ATSC digital TV, and its sample shipping.
SM5300AV realizes that the filter and buffered outputs in one package by applying the NPC's original developed C-BiCMOS process. The lowpass filter can be ajusted voluntary in the cutoff frequency range of 5 to 37MHz.
The filter employs a 5-order Butterworth lowpass filter configuration. The filter characteristics have been optimizes for minimal overshoot and flat group delay, it has a variable cutoff frequency and guaranteed driver-stage channel gain and phase difference values.
NPC continues to develop the specific products for the marketable applications such as DVD players, STB and CATV on the basis of this SM5300AV.
