Nippon Precision Circuits Inc. announces the beginning of Sample shipping of the SM8223AP, a one-chipped FSK (Frequency Shift Keying) decoder and DTMF (Dual Tone Multi Frequency) receiver IC.

NPC has developed a set of Caller ID signal receiver and decoder ICs. Now, NPC launches out a new FSK decoder and DTMF receiver, SM8223AP, a low power consumption IC that features high efficiency of one-chipped FSK decoder and DTMF receiver.

Caller IC service is generally offered in FSK signal, however, in some areas especially in China DTMF signal is also employed as its inftastructure of condition.
