NPC has developed SM5905AF, compression and non compression type shock-proof memory controller LSI. NPC has already developed SM5904BF which is for portable equipments, and this SM5905AF is added 5V supply voltage function and 8bit compression mode to the SM5904BF. This means that SM5905AF is suitable for Car audio or Car CDs.
