Nippon Precision Circuits Inc., LSI manufacturer in the Seiko Group, has developed SM5847AF, a high-fidelity digital audio multi-function digital filter for DVD-Audios. The SM5847 is the latest audio device from NPC, and developed in cooperation with PIONEER ELECTRONIC CORP., a leading proponent company of the DVD-Audio standardization.

The SM5847AF is a 4/8-times oversampling(interpolation), 2-channel, linear-phase FIR, multi-function digital filter for digital audio reproduction equipments.
