SEIKO was established in 1881. Companies of its groups have been selling timepieces they manufacture in the markets throughout the world. Since the 1964 Olympics Games in Tokyo where SEIKO's clocks were selected as the official timekeeping instruments, SEIKO has made many contributions to athletic competitions in all over the world. To be called the "SEIKO of Watches" is enviable status.
Currently, SEIKO and its affiliates are engaged in production of watches, clocks, camera components, other precision instruments, eyeglasses, as well as sports and toiletry products. This broad product mix enhances the overall power of the SEIKO brand and to further support the activities of each affiliate.
