Environmental education
We also emphasize the environmental education. We have many programs including the courses specially programmed for each professionals and position and courses for general employees. Our educational program that targets at all company members have risen high interests among them and have had profound effect.
Greenhouse effect
- The average temperature on the earth will rise about three degrees Celsius within 100 years (which is higher than the rise of temperature in the past 10,000 years). As a result, the sea level will rise 1 m.
- The temperature at the Antarctica will rise ten degrees Celsius within 100 years. If the embacle in the Antarctica thaws, the sea level rises 70 m.
- Majority of the lands in 40 countries will be submerged under water. Farm lands will be submerged under water or be damaged by salt water.
- Profusion of the methane gas will be emitted as the permafrost thaws.
- Global food crisis will also put Japan into a serious condition.
- Environmental refugees crisis to grow over 100 million people.
- Deserting and floods due to abnormal weather
- Increase of infectious diseases
- If the sea level rises 1 m, 90% of the Japanese beach will be lost.
- Typhoons will grow huge, increasing damages.
- Countless forests will be lost, and countless life species will be extinct.

To prevent the global warming
We must suppress the generation of greenhouse gases and preserve and increase the sources that absorb these gases.
- Solar power generation, co-generation, waste heat power generation, wind power generation
- Improvement of mileage of automobiles, introduction of low-pollution cars, enhancement of efficiency of household appliances and illuminations
- Reduction of CO2 that is generated during the manufacture of materials by reusing and recycling
